Friends,
Autumn is here, bringing with it the usual changes this season brings to most of us. New schools. New sports. Crisp weather. Warmer clothes....
But, for Health Plus, this fall also brings a longstanding goal to fruition: Our Facilitated Enrollment Electronic Application Project (FEEA).
For nearly two years, we have been implementing FEEA, an electronic application process for our prospective members, in an effort to simplify that process and reduce the time it takes for eligible New Yorkers to enroll in our health insurance plans. We're proud to announce that we have seen members enrolled in as little as seven days where thirty- and forty-five-day waiting periods were once the norm. The implications of FEEA are tremendous and go a long way towards helping us realize our mission of providing access to quality healthcare to all who qualify. We hope to keep you posted on this in months to come.
On November 15th we also begin the Open Enrollment period for our Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan -- Health Plus Elite (HMO) -- now in its second year. We're confident that our solid benefits package, extensive provider network, and seasoned, multi-lingual staff make Health Plus Elite (HMO) a great choice.
Call 1-866-509-7999 for further information or to enroll in our Medicare plan.
Those of you who are visiting this website for the first time, I urge you to take a look at the products and services we offer, including Medicare. Let us know if you or your family members or your friends are in need of the help we can supply. Take our free eligibility test, available on our home page, to see if you or your children qualify.
Or call us at 1-888-809-8009.
But, whether you've known Health Plus for some time or are just getting acquainted, I hope you'll take the time to browse through this website to learn more about us, about who we are and what we do. One of the New York area's largest health insurers -- a company that's been serving New Yorkers for a quarter-century now -- Health Plus is a company in which we all take great pride.
Best regards,

Tom Early
