Brooklyn, NY - December 23, 2003 — For nine years now, Health Plus, the largest provider of government-sponsored health insurance in the city and state, has been playing the role of Saint Nick throughout the city.

Every year Health Plus gives toys to the children who attend its North Pole Stroll and Photos with Santa events. This year was no exception, as the company gave out many different types of toys, including mini-motorcycles and dolls, at six different holiday events throughout the city. Children in attendance also had their picture taken with Santa Claus for free.

"The holidays are a very magical time, especially for children, and Health Plus is pleased to wish our communities the compliments of the season," says Health Plus's Chief Marketing Officer, Ada Rodriguez. "These holiday events are conducted to promote goodwill in our communities - but it gives us great joy to see the children's happiness when they receive their gifts."
