Bronx, NY - June 17, 2003 — The Empire State Development Corporation opened its Bronx Walk-In Center to helps businesses, merchants, and organizations strengthen the local economy.
 
"For many small businesses, quality healthcare has always been an issue," says Health Plus's Executive Director Thomas Early, whose borough-wide company recently opened up a second Bronx-based office at 2501 Grand Concourse. "Finding a way to provide workers with affordable health insurance isn't easy, but keeping employees healthy makes sense, and can be a big part of a healthy bottom line, too. At Health Plus, we're proud to provide New Yorkers with state-funded, free or affordable quality healthcare.
