Three Kings Day Parade Held In Brooklyn
Health Plus Supports Traditional Hispanic Post - Christmas Event For Children

Brooklyn, NY - January 8, 2003 — Thousands of people paraded down Graham Avenue last Sunday in Williamsburg for the sixth annual Brooklyn's Three Kings Day Parade.
 
Health Plus, the managed care organization, sponsored the event giving away 400 toys to children in attendance.
 
The event celebrates the biblical story of the three kings or Magi. The kings, following the star of Bethlehem, brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the baby Jesus. It is a tradition in Latin America for children to leave water and grass out for the camels or horses and food for the kings, in hopes the kings will leave gifts.
