Message from Executive Director


Friends,

Welcome to the Health Plus website. It's been my privilege to lead this organization for many years and to have partnered with or supported many of New York City & Nassau County's finest community organizations, while caring for the health of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers.Together, we've seen many seasons come and go, and enjoyed the good things each one has brought. This year, we're looking forward to an autumn full of change and growth for us all.

At Health Plus, we're initiating some changes of our own. In order to serve our members and our community better, recently, we conducted our first Medicare Member Advisory Board meeting, where we had a great opportunity to learn -- first hand -- what our Medicare members think about us, our products and services, and to find out how we can be a better health plan. We look forward to continuing these productive meetings with our seniors and other Medicare-eligibles and to implementing the kind of changes our members tell us they need. 

We are also getting ready for the Medicare Annual Election Period in mid- October, and looking forward to adding new members to our plan.  Until then, we'll continue to get the word out about Health Plus Elite (HMO) --  our Medicare program now in its third year. With our Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan and Special Needs Plan, we are confident that our generous benefits package,extensive provider network, and seasoned, multi-lingual staff make Health Plus Elite (HMO) a great choice.
