Brooklyn, New York - September 3, 2009 — As part of the ongoing “Seniors and Their Champions Night” series at Keyspan Park in Coney Island – Home of the Brooklyn Cyclones -- Health Plus Elite (the managed care organization’s Medicare plan) honored yet another hero of the community, Larry McReynolds, Executive Vice President of Lutheran Medical Center and Executive Director of Lutheran Family Health Centers.

Larry was honored on behalf of the work that the Lutheran Family Health Centers have done to ensure quality medical care for seniors and all members of the community.

“We are very proud of our ongoing partnership with Lutheran Medical Center and the Lutheran Family Health Centers,” said Tom Early, Executive Director of Health Plus. “Since Larry McReynolds first came to Lutheran and the Family Health Centers, he’s been instrumental in guaranteeing that the senior community is getting the care and respect they deserve. Now that we have a Medicare plan ourselves – Health Plus Elite – we have a better understanding of just how much Larry does on their behalf. It is our privilege to honor him tonight, but it our honor to continue working with him and with seniors across New York City.
