Teen Advisory Board - The Teen Advisory Board will be made up of Health Plus teen members between the ages of 13 – 18 years of age. The goal of the teen advisory board is to empower our teen health plus members with knowledge, information and skills about their health and the Health Plus health plan which will help them to become healthy individuals which will lead them into healthy adulthoods. They will also be involved in identifying issues that might prevent teenagers from going to doctors and seeking medical care.
    Other Functions of Teen Advisory Board:
  • Write articles for Health Plus Teen Newsletter
  • Write articles for Teen Website section
  • Participate in Health Plus special events (plan and promote special events)
  • Review health education materials intended for teens
  • Assist in the development of the Health Plus Teen Health website section

    Meeting Dates and Times:
  • The Teen Advisory Board will meeting on a Bimonthly Basis from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Food/Snacks will be provided
