The evening-long event began with a cocktail reception and a silent auction to benefit “Go Red for Women”, an organization founded by the American Red Cross to fight heart disease in women. This was followed by a networking expo, where nearly 30 companies from across the area were represented.
By the time the awards portion of the evening began at seven o’clock, there were over 850 people in attendance, none more proud than the group from Health Plus, there to cheer on their own Ada Rodriguez. Fox Journalist Geraldo Rivera was also honored as “Man of the Year.”
“I am honored to accept this award”, said Ada Rodriguez, Chief Marketing Officer of Health Plus. “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the people and businesses of Queens. At Health Plus, we are very proud of the work we do, and always look for ways to enhance the services we provide the people of this borough and this city.”
Ada Rodriguez, Chief Marketing Officer of Health Plus along with Journalist and TV personality Geraldo Rivera hold up Rodriguez’s award at the Sixth Annual “Top Women in Business” Networking Awards Dinner.
