Health Plus Honored by Chinese Community

New York, New York - February 14, 2008 — This past weekend, during a kick-off Gala for the Chinese New Year Parade at the at the Grand Harmony Restaurant on Mott Street, in Manhattan’s Chinatown, Tommy Cen, Regional Director of Asian Markets for managed care organization, was honored with a citation from the New York City Council, for all of the hard work he and his company have done for the Chinese communities of New York City. Councilman John Lui, of Queens, was on hand to present him with the award.

“We are very proud of our work in the Chinese community,” said Tom Early, Executive Director of Health Plus.  “We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park. To see what a positive effect we are having now on so many lives in so many communities throughout New York City and Nassau County brings us great pleasure.”
