New York, New York - October 17, 2007 — This past Sunday, over one million spectators lined the sidewalks along 5th avenue in Midtown Manhattan for the 43rd Annual Hispanic Day Parade, sponsored, once again, by managed care organization Health Plus.

There was no shortage of bright outfits and even brighter music, as thousands of participants, representing dozens of different Latin American nations, marched, danced, and rode floats along the parade route, sharing a slice of each one’s culture, to the delight of the crowd.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to sponsor this event,” said Ada Rodriguez, Chief Marketing Officer for Health Plus, “but we’re even more excited about participating in the parade ourselves. Not just to represent our own countries, but to see all the dancing groups and performances, even the clowns! I guess parades bring out the kid in everyone.”
