New York, NY - March 7, 2007 — Last Week, Managed Care Organization, Health Plus, held a luncheon for the Community Affairs Officers of the New York Police Department at their Manhattan office, in Washington Heights.

Health Plus, which is famous for its summer events, has a longstanding relationship with Community Affairs Officers of the NYPD, who have worked with the health care organization on countless neighborhood events over the years. As a result, these two groups have an outstanding work-relationship and have learned how to perfect the art of the summer festival, ensuring that children, and adults alike, can have a fun, safe, and educational experience. Whether it’s a summer concert in Brooklyn or a street fair in the Bronx, these two groups will be there, making sure that there are smiles all around.

“Over the years, we have had many partnerships,” says Tom Early, Health Plus Executive Director. “Some stay as they are, some dissipate, and others just grow stronger every year. Our partnership with the NYPD’s Community Affairs Officers is one of the good ones, and I only hope that it continues to grow, and in the years to come that we can continue to offer new and exciting events to the residents of our communities.”

Staff members from Health Plus, the managed care organization, which offers free and affordable health insurance, stands along side members of the New York Police Department’s Community Affairs Department.
