Brooklyn, New York - February 5, 2007 — Managed care organization Health Plus has a strong reputation for offering special care and attention to each and every community throughout the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County. While they have always had Urdu-speaking staff on hand, now, in addition to their numerous satellite offices, the company has just opened a new office where Urdu will be the primary language spoken. Located at 1026 Coney Island Ave, between Foster and Parkville, this new Health Plus location shares its building with the Pakistani American Community Center in the heart of Midwood, Brooklyn, which has the largest concentration of Pakistani residents and businesses in the borough.

The grand opening extravaganza kicked off this past Friday with a dinner celebration at the Pakiza Restaurant, located on the first floor of the building housing the new Health Plus office. Many local politicians and community leaders were in attendance to wish Health Plus the best of luck in this newest of satellite offices.

“It’s always a pleasure to see the lights turn on in a new Health Plus location,” says Tom Early, Health Plus Executive Director, “We have opened our doors to a new community, but it’s really the community that has opened their doors to us. The turnout for the grand opening makes us feel truly welcome, and it will be an honor to work here and watch this neighborhood grow in the years to come.”
