Bronx, NY - March 30, 2006 — Although Ada Rodriguez has received a variety of awards in her tenure as Chief Marketing Officer of managed care organization Health Plus, perhaps no accolade is quite as rewarding as the one she received at the Women’s History Month Celebration last night. Presented by the Mini-Olympics Youth Volunteers – a non-profit organization dedicated to the purpose of equipping the youth of America with the knowledge needed to build a stronger community and to ensure a better tomorrow --  the awards ceremony was held at the gymnasium of the Aging in America Community Service Center in the Bronx.

Ms. Rodriguez was amongst several other women awarded for their company’s commitment and contributions to the Mini-Olympics Youth program, which was founded by, and is under the direction of, Irene Estrada.

“The children that participate in the Mini-Olympics program are really doing a great thing for themselves in terms of self-growth and for their community, as well,” said Ada Rodriguez, referring to the young volunteers present, dressed in smart uniforms. “Seeing these bright young minds here today reminds us at Health Plus of why we sponsor programs like this one. I’m thankful for this award and look forward to continuing our partnership with Ms. Estrada and the Mini-Olympics Volunteer program.”

Recipients of the Mini-Olympics Youth Award -- including Ada Rodriguez, the Chief Marketing Officer of Health Plus (2nd row, far right) - show off their certificates at the dinner celebration and awards ceremony held last night in the Bronx.
