Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director : Tom Early

Since 1994, Tom Early has been with Health Plus -- a not-for-profit organization offering free or low cost healthcare for children and adults. The company's products include: Child Health Plus, for children up to the age of 19; Family Health Plus, for adults; 19-64; Health Care Plus; Medicaid Managed Care, and two  Medicare Advantage programs: Health Plus Advantage (HMO) Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan and  Health Plus Elite (HMO SNP) Special Needs Plan.
 
Tom has overseen the successful expansion and operation of Health Plus throughout New York City and into Nassau county. Under his leadership, Health Plus has grown into one of the largest managed care providers of state-sponsored health insurance in New York State, currently enabling over 320,000 New Yorkers to receive health insurance coverage, along with access to quality medical care.

Tom began his career in healthcare over 30 years ago at Presbyterian Hospital of New York City. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Francis College, in Brooklyn Heights. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant. Active in the community, he  is currently serving on the following Boards:  The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce; the Brooklyn Children’s Museum; Kingsborough Community College Foundation; Queens Health Coalition; the Brooklyn Health Information Exchange; and the Association of Community Affiliated Plans. Tom is the recipient of numerous coummunity and civic association awards.
